About the artwork

The painting was made by the author for the annual group exhibition on the occasion of the celebration of the day of City of Zadar and St. Chrysogonus in the Zadar City Lodge in November 2023. The theme of the exhibition was ‘male act’.
The figuration in the painting shows the “blues” of life.
The male act in gray gradations, in a closed, crouched position, and the face in the literal and figurative sense of inner energy, immersed in the screen, speak about the world we live in.
The painting also represents broken bonds emotional and social, where people become slaves to their own devices and unsorted thoughts. The question is, how much more information noise can we endure before we lose ourselves?
