About the artwork

The Mother and Child necklace was exhibited in the Mediatheque of the French Institute in Zagreb in 2014. The theme of the exhibition Jewelry Friends Club ” Vis à vis” was France as a guiding thread in the creation of unique jewelry.The author found inspiration for the necklace in the sculptures of the French sculptor Jean Pierre Augier

Danijela Kasaić was born in 1966 in Zagreb, Croatia. She graduated from high school, majoring in journalism. After high school, she enrolled and graduated from the School for Jewelry Design CEKAO Zagreb (Center for Culture and Education). She is a member of ULUPUH (Croatian Association of Fine Artists of Applied Arts). She lives and works in Zagreb
