The brooch “What is essential is invisible to the eyes” is a piece from the eponymous cycle of brooches, one of which was exhibited at an international exhibition. The brooch represents our inner self and the exterior we adapt to the ideal norms of society. By incorporating an industrially produced patented clasp, it highlights our ability to open up to our surroundings. The pearl set inside the brooch, a natural formation, is a result of processes within us

Artistic jewelry Andrea perceives as an inspiring piece of wearable art, in its own way, sculptural. We bind the chosen ones to ourselves as a power source, a sign, an emotion, a memory, a shape that complements us.

Andrea Rosandić, a designer of precious metals and contemporary art jewelry, was born in Zagreb, Croatia, in 1964. By profession, she is a dental technician, where she gained experience in working with various materials, precious metals, ceramics, acrylics, and more. In 2010, she completed the "Master School" at the Open Atelier Lumezi in Zagreb. She has participated in several group exhibitions and one solo exhibition. She is a member of ULUPUH (Croatian Association of Applied Arts Artists) and HZSU (Croatian Community of Independent Artists). She lives and creates in Zagreb.
