Julijana Rodić Ozimec was born in 1967 in Zagreb, Croatia. She creates jewelry under the pseudonym JoR. From an early age, she designs jewelry in silver. After two years of studying philosophy and Hispanic studies, she works in a casino as a croupier. After a short work experience, she returned to her family craft – goldsmithing. Julijana learned the trade in the family workshop of her father Aleksandar and brother Nikola. In 2005, she opened her own studio JoR, where she makes unique artistic jewelry and jewelry inspired by the cultural and natural heritage of Croatia. By making jewelry inspired by Croatian heritage, she has collaborated with more than thirty museums in Croatia, and the Ministry of Culture and Media uses Juliana's jewelry for protocol purposes. She has won several awards, held six solo and participated in twenty group jewelry exhibitions. She is a member of ULUPUH and HZSU. She is a mother of two children in a family with a lot of pets.
