The firm Identities Ltd. was founded in 2024. in Zagreb, Croatia, and sales through the gallery's web shop www.identitiesgallery.com began in 2025.
Question What types of art are in the Identities gallery?

Identities Gallery offers artworks of all types of art: fine arts (paintings and sculptures), applied arts (photography; ceramics, porcelain and glass; toys and dolls and artistic jewellery), product design products and unique pieces of UNESCO intangible cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia.
Question How many artworks are on in the gallery?
Answer
At any given time we have 30 artworks in offer for your purchase.
Question How do you choose artists i.e. the artworks for sale?
Answer
We do choose them in cooperation with representatives of the profession, art history professors and members (artists) of professional art and design associations, who also do approach to us directly. The artists themselves also recommend their highly ranked or award-winning colleagues. Our selection includes a wide range of artworks by older and younger artists and designers from Croatia and some European countries, all types of techniques, materials and artistic styles. The common denominator is that these are highly rated, high-quality and valuable original works of all types of arts.

Answer
This symbol allows you to choose the artworks you love while you're on the site, so you can find them all on one single page. To see this, click on the heart on the main menu. To make sure your favourites are saved and so that you can see them on another device, we recommend creating an account.
Question What are the accepted methods of payment?
Answer
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro) and bank transfer.
Question Can I also buy as a legal entity (company, association or institution)?
Answer
Of course. Identities Ltd. is a registered company for trade and services. It issues invoices. It is not subject to VAT and the prices you find on the gallery's web shop are final (total) prices.
Question Is my credit card payment secure?
Answer
Yes! We ensure the highest level of security and data protection while making online payments, by using multiple certified and licensed tools.
Question What happens after my payment is processed?
Answer
Once the payment has been processed, the artwork is reserved for you and will no longer be for sale on the gallery's web shop! You will receive a confirmation and invoice by e-mail. We will then begin organizing the delivery of the artwork to your desired address in Croatia or abroad.
Question Can I cancel my order or return the purchased artwork if I don't like it?
Answer
Yes. Before the artwork has been shipped, you can cancel your order by email. Once it's been shipped, the cancellation period runs for 14 days after delivery. The artwork must be undamaged and in its original packaging. The organization and cost of the return is borne by the buyer.
Question Are there any delivery charges?
Answer
No, delivery of purchased artworks is free of charge. Delivery is only charged if it is explicitly stated with a specific work (heavy sculptures) that delivery is not included in the price and if the delivery address of such sculptures is outside the Republic of Croatia.
Question How long does delivery take?
Answer

Delivery within Croatia usually takes 1 to 5 business days. For international deliveries 7–14 days, depending on the destination.

Question Who delivers the purchased works?
Answer

Delivery is carried out in person by a representative of Identities Gallery or by a trusted shipping company of our choice (GLS, DHL, UPS or other), depending on the delivery address. You will be notified of this by email.

Question How are the artworks protected during transport?
Answer
We ensure safe delivery to the desired address. Each work is carefully packed in adequate protective packaging, depending on the type of work, address and delivery method.
Question Is it possible to deliver to an address other than the buyer's address?
Answer
Yes, the delivery is possible to an address of your choice, in Croatia or anywhere in the world.
Question Is it possible to have the artwork specially packaged, and with a message (or greeting) from the buyer to the person receiving it?

Question How to buy a Gift Voucher of Identities Gallery?

In the Shop section of Identities Gallery web-shop please find a Gift Voucher offer.
Simply select the preferred value of the Gift Voucher among several offered options.
Follow by choosing “Add to cart”.
The chosen Gift Voucher will appear in your Shopping Cart.
Follow the steps of payment and checkout.

After purchase you will receive by e-mail a Gift Voucher Code certificate, with stated unique redeem code, value and expiration date of the Gift Voucher Code.
Your Gift Voucher card will be delivered to the address which you stated in the Checkout section.

Question How to redeem a Gift Voucher code of Identities Gallery?
Answer

After adding the products of your choice into the cart proceed to the Shopping Cart.
There you will find a Gift Voucher section, just before Cart Total.
Type in the Gift Voucher code that you received on the Gift Voucher Code certificate and click “Apply”.
The Gift Voucher value will be deducted from your Total cost.
Proceed with payment and checkout.

In case there are still funds remaining on the Gift Voucher after your purchase, an automatic e-mail with the status of remaining funds will be sent to you.
The expiration date of remaining funds is the same as initially stated on the Gift Voucher Code certificate.

Question Is the framing possible done by your gallery?

Most of our paintings look good without a frame and are therefore sold unframed unless otherwise stated. Also, some buyers prefer to frame the artwork themselves. If a particular painting is framed, this will be stated on the artwork details page, and you find the real photos of the every complete artwork as we sell and deliver it.
Question When are customs tariffs and taxes charged?

When the buyer or recipient (delivery address) is outside the territory of the EU member states, import duties and taxes may have to be paid to the local customs office. It is the buyer's responsibility and expense to pay all local import duties and taxes. These amounts are subject to change. If you are located outside the EU, we will endeavour to obtain relevant information from our global delivery partners on the additional costs of tariffs and taxes in your country.
Question What documents may be required for the import of high-value artworks if I live outside Croatia and EU?

The artists/designers of the artworks we offer have the copyright of it and these art pieces are not legally considered cultural property of the Republic of Croatia (or the country from which the author originates). Therefore, their export from the Republic of Croatia does not require a permit from the state authorities, which applies to protected cultural property that is part of the permanent collection of a museum or other institution or owner. However, for purchased artworks of higher value that have not been determined to be cultural property, for export/shipping outside the Republic of Croatia, Identities Ltd. gallery will, in coordination with the artist, obtain the necessary certificate from the competent authority, which establishes that it is not a cultural property, and that there is no obstacle to its export from the Republic of Croatia. The responsible Conservation Department of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, or the City Department for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Monuments in Zagreb, will issue a certificate on the basis of which the artwork can be exported abroad.
Question Do I receive a certificate of authenticity (COA)?

Yes. Each artwork comes with a signed certificate of authenticity from the artist or gallery. Furthermore, all editions (photographs, graphics and other pieces for which it is applicable) are numbered and signed by the artist.
Question What is an edition?
Answer
An edition is a general term in art that refers to a series of works created by an artist from the same matrix, mold or file. It can be limited edition (with a fixed number of copies) or unlimited (without a specific number). Artworks for which there is a limited number of copies are limited edition and that number will not change. Such as in photography or graphics, sculpture, etc. For photography, an established artist usually has an edition size of around 3 to 5 (maximum 10 copies), while a young photographer may have a larger edition size. In general, the smaller the edition size, the higher the price.
Question Can I reserve an artwork?

If you are seriously interested in a particular artwork and would like to purchase it for yourself (or as a gift) in a few days, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will probably remove this artwork from the gallery's web shop. Because each artwork offered is unique and we do not have another one like it in our offer.
Question Can I commission an artwork with you?
Answer
Yes, certainly. If you are buying as individual or legal entity, we can arrange the creation of an art or design work with the author per your wish and deliver it to you with our invoice. For made-to-order artwork, production time must be added to regular delivery time!
